Plot
The story follows the retirement of Pilot Officer Eden Cooke as she is adopted as a pet by her commander, Lance Commander Norma Cole. The story is primarily worldbuilding and ends with the euthanasia of Eden Cooke as a result of chronic degradation in her health.
