The story follows the unnamed reader character who is kidnapped from their job in the waning days of an imperial state. The reader insert and thirteen other transfemme individuals are converted into what the story calls "wolves", a stopgap measure by a country that can no longer produce full mechs. They are trained as a pack and deployed to defend the last imperial stronghold before Lt. Halstead is killed and control over them is lost. Plot
The story follows the unnamed reader character who is kidnapped from their job in the waning days of an imperial state.
